Here is how to Delete your PayPal Account. Once you close your account you are allowed to use the same details to create a new account (Same email, phone number , Card details etc).
On a personal Account .
This is for you if you are not using the PayPal Business Account.
#1 Log in to your PayPal account.
#2 Click Settings near the top of the page. This is the gear Icon normally on the top right.
#3 Then Under Account , Scroll all the way down till you see Close your Account. Click on it.
# 4 A prompt will come up asking you to close the Account. As soon as you click on it, your account will be closed. If you are drunk and just playing around, do not click the big blue button.
Close a Business Account .
If your PayPal account is a business one, the process is not just the same.
The process to close your account:
1 Log in to your PayPal account.
2 Click Profile near the top of the page. The Gear icon .
3 Then Click Profile and settings.
4 Then Click My settings.
5 Under Account type section. which is the first item on the list, you will see Close Account. The link, Close Account is at the far right .
After that, follow the Security steps that follow . In the end you’ll get to close your PayPal Business Account.
