Run WordPress on a VPS using Nginx and PHP-FPM.

If you are looking for a way to run WordPress on a VPS using Nginx and PHP-FPM, this short post is for you.

I have 2 (actually 3) YouTube Playlists for running WordPress on a VPS. They are listed below.

#1 Run WordPress using Virtualmin – LEMP stack – In this setup you will setup Debian and install Virtualmin LEMP stack. If you do not want to use Debian, you can use Ubuntu, all the commands will work without any issue.

#2 Run WordPress using HestiaCP – LEMP stack – HestiaCP is very lightweight. Using it with Nginx is even more lightweight and will help conserve your server resources. In this setup, I installed Ubuntu, set it up and installed Hestia Control Panel.

#3 Run WordPress using Cyberpanel (Openlitespeed) – I created this tutorial when Centos 8 was new, however, Ubuntu has become the de-facto OS for Cyberpanel. I added that video in the playlist. SO, setup Ubuntu and follow along appropriately.

All the tutorials above are free to watch on YouTube.
