Note: If you are a Developer, Digital Ocean or Vultr is your best option for hosting. Digital Ocean and Vultr are VPS / Self managed Cloud Hosting platforms. You can host static websites, dynamic websites built with PHP, Python, Java, Ruby and so on. Just spin up a server and install the server software that will run your website, Web app or Mobile App. Digital Ocean or Vultr is your best choice. I prefer Vultr .
If you are not a developer and has no idea how to install server applications , these four Web Hosts are the best web hosting solutions that I am recommending to you. These are web Hosts I have used in the past and that is why I am choosing them among the many big web hosting companies.
I have a lot of experience with lots of Web Hosting providers. I used to freelance a looot! I have built Joomla sites, WordPress, Drupal, PrestaShop websites , Laravel sites and so on. This period of my life gave me the opportunity to work with various Hosting companies. Nowadays I don’t do it as much since I am always working on my web courses.
You will notice that some big names such as Godaddy and Hostgator are not here because I personally wouldn’t use them for my website or any client’s website.
Disclaimer : The above Prices may be different on the Web Host’s websites due to difference in promotional seasons.
These are the Web Hosts you should choose if you are a beginner or even a seasoned web developer . Yes, I recommend them in that order .
The truth is that every Web Host is not perfect. But the most important aspect is Support and Speed.
Having used Bluehost for over 3 years, I would highly recommended them to you.
Therefore, consider choosing any Web Host from among the four listed here.Honorable mentions:
1. Namecheap.com : Every time I think of any idea and wants to buy a domain, I’m always inclined towards Namecheap.com .
Namecheap also provides very affordable hosting for anyone who wants to get online fast and cheap. You will get the best domain prices here.
2. iPage : For first timers, iPage will provide you the most affordable entry level hosting which usually ranges from $1 to $2 . This is usually for first time iPage users.
….
As I said, every web host has it’s issues. Sometimes issues occur unexpectedly.
Essentially it’s you to decide out of the four, which one is best suited to your needs. Should you purchase any one of the above, using the links above, I stand to get a small reward.
As you already know, I’m currently using Bluehost. And I am strongly considering moving all my domains to Inmotion or Greengeeks. My only concern with Bluehost is Website speed. Which you can overlook. Nonetheless, Bluehost has never let me down for the past 3 years. That is why I would recommend them to you.
All in all, any of the above Web Hosts would be okay to host any Website or any Web App you are building.
Feel free to click through and look at them extensively. Almost all the above provide different hosting solutions. Including Shared Hosting, VPS Hosting and Dedicated Hosting.
Read More about the above Web Hosts here [a review].
If you have any questions feel free to let me know. If you have any experiences you would like to share , comment here.

Thank you so much! for taking the time to create such an informative blog about web hosting. It has been really usefully for people looking for webhosts.
mm not sure if the comments goes through or not as it dosnt give any feedback if it gets accepted so I will send again, sorry if you get double post
Thank you so much! for taking the time to create such an informative blog it been really usefully because a newbie like me it’s very hard to choose from so many companies as it gets very overwhelmed all the info that needs to be considered.
I’m curious to know why not Godaddy, just to learn more about how if the process of choosing the best hosting service, as normally I end up all the time on the GoDaddy website but I still didn’t buy any from them as it looks quite expensive.
Your Blogs are really cool and very informative I’m learning a lot keep up the good work!! You deserve millions of visitors as they will learn a lot.
Another question I have what is the difference with going from a normal hosting company vs going to (Vultr or Oceans)?
I’m trying to assess what is more worthy for a beginner like me if to pay extra and get any of those big companies or get cheaper (Vultr or Oceans)
What is the difference with going with one method or the other?
Because I will value more the time that I have to invest in installing and maintaining & Security, so basically I will prefer to pay a little bit extra but spend less time on the hosting maintenance and more time looking after the business whatever it is. I say this because it looks like going (Vultr or Oceans) is more manual work involved but maybe I’m mistaking.
I would love if you can create a blog comparing both sides as I didn’t find any yet. This is very important as each person that will need a website has to go through the questions to assess which route you want to take, basically how much effort will you have to invest in this route or the other route and how much money will you save or pay extra etc…
I think Basically will be (Time spent effort Vs Money Saved)
Then if its that correct then the next question is if is it worth it to spend less?
I would love your thoughts on this as I been struggling to compare both routes as I don’t see at the moment why one will be better than the other.
Will be nice to have in-depth comparations with all the ins and outs and I think you will perfect to this job for your expertise and your skills of writing blogs and tutorials.
Thank you very much, I hope to hear your thoughts soon ))

If you have the skills to manage a VPS, or is willing to learn, ALWAYS choose VPS over shared hosting. That is the biggest factor you should consider. Here is a tutorial for setting up your server and running WordPress : https://bizanosa.com/how-to-run-wordpress-on-a-vps/
