In this post you’ll learn how to  translate Mailchimp forms  .  If you want to reach your subscribers through a particular language, you will need to translate your forms / emails .

Translate Mailchimp forms

First you will need to go to the form you want to translate.

> And then click on Translate it .  This is located next to the Build it and design it links / tabs .

> Under the Set default language dropdown , select your language. The supported languages include:

  • English
  • Arabic
  • Afrikaans
  • Belarusian
  • Bulgarian
  • Catalan
  • Chinese (Simplified)
  • Chinese (Traditional)
  • Croatian
  • Czech
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • Estonian
  • Farsi
  • Finnish
  • French (France)
  • French (Canada)
  • German
  • Greek
  • Hebrew
  • Hindi
  • Hungarian
  • Icelandic
  • Indonesian
  • Irish
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Khmer
  • Korean
  • Latvian
  • Lithuanian
  • Maltese
  • Malay
  • Macedonian
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Portuguese (Portugal)
  • Romanian
  • Russian

> Pick the language that you want to use for your forms.

The following are the defaults that you may need to translate to your language of choice. They are all listed just above your form. They are:

  • Address Line 2
  • City
  • Click here to update your profile
  • Country
  • HTML
  • indicates required
  • is already subscribed to list
  • Plain-text
  • Postal/Zip
  • Preferred format
  • State/Prov/Region
  • Street Address
  • Subscribe to list
  • There are errors below
  • This page has been automatically translated.
  • View in the original language

> Translate the above into your language by typing in the translations in their input boxes . And then click on Save Translation settings .

Your actual form will also be translated. Other fields and words may already be translated. If you did not edit any text on your form, then most or all of the text will already be translated.

You may have to translate the parts that you edited or added to your form.

All the other forms and emails will all have been translated as well. If there are any changes you made to the other forms / emails , you will have to change them manually. If you have no idea about these other forms and emails on Mailchimp, click here .
