The journey of trying to become a better you can be challenging.
Earlier on I realized that I don’t like reading. But I Iove the idea of learning something new. So naturally I found myself inclined to audiobooks and videos . That is how I consume most of my information. I don’t mind reading blog posts . Because they are short.
Today I decided that I will try to blog everyday. I will write whatever comes to my mind. After all it’s my website and my domain name. Having no one to answer to in things like this, makes me so calm and happy. The point of this post, was to make you my accountability partner.
I decided that every day I must write a post and publish it on my blog. And by making this public statement, I will have no choice but to do it. Thanks for being my accountability partner. I love you for that.
I am inclined to introversion more than extroversion. But still I will survive around people or even alone. Either way, wherever you put me I will survive.
I don’t know if you have ever read the Charisma Myth, by Olivia Fox Cabane. If you are introverted I will suggest that book to you. I believe that book was written by an introvert for introverts. I do understand there are ambiverts too. So I guess that’s where I fall, just like the majority of the world.
Who wouldn’t want to be charismatic. I always feel good when I’m listening to the audiobook. Note that, I don’t like reading any book that is over 100 pages. I prefer to get the audiobook. And if it is not there, I will wait till the day it’s produced.
I know you have picked up great books in the past. Read them. And forgot a whole bunch of what you read. The same is the case here. I remember some things but not all.
The thing I remember the most from this book is the concept of self compassion. Be nice to yourself. You are not perfect. And you are also not imperfect. In all your imperfections you are perfect.
